Child thugs ambush and brutally bash disabled man in a Queensland laundromat

Four boys have used broom sticks to attack a 57-year-old disabled man who went to a laundromat in the early hours of the morning with the whole incident caught on CCTV.

The sickening incident took place in the south east Queensland town of Gatton at 3.30am on Sunday with the boys seen loitering at the laundromat playing with broomsticks before the man walks in.

As the man tries to use the washing machines the boys begin to poke him with broomsticks, even poking his face, as he tries to ward them off with his walking cane.

At one stage the boys have the man cornered with the broomsticks pointed directly at his throat and face.

Brandishing his cane the man attempts to herd the boys out of the laundromat’s back door but they continue trying to poke him and get back in.

One of the boys hurls a large rock at the door while unbeknownst to the man another climbs out of a large dryer where he had previously hid to join the fray.

Outside the the building the man is surrounded by the young thugs who attack him from different angles.

As the man uses his cane in self defence one of the boys viciously hurls a broomstick at his head.
