  • NRL star Jai Arrow popped question to Berina Colakovic
  • Couple have shared some major news on Instagram

NRL bad boy Jai Arrow and his glamorous partner Berina Colakovic have announced they are expecting a baby in 2025.

It comes after South Sydney forward Arrow proposed to his now fiancée during a romantic post-season holiday in Italy back in October.

And on Friday, the loved-up couple took to Instagram to declare their family was growing.

‘Our newest little roomie joining us in 2025,’ the caption read, accompanied by a series of images of the couple at the beach.

Rabbitohs teammate Siliva Havili was quick to pass on his congratulations, as was utility back Taane Milne, who has since joined Huddersfield Giants in the English Super League.

One of the real characters in rugby league, Arrow made his first-grade debut with the Broncos in 2016.

He then joined the Titans two seasons later before shifting to the Rabbitohs in 2021, where he played in the NRL Grand Final against the Panthers.

Off the field, Arrow has been no stranger to controversy.

In July of 2021, the forward was dumped from the Maroons’ squad and fined $35,000 after he brought in a ‘dancer’ to Queensland Origin camp on the Gold Coast.

It soon emerged the footy star snuck the woman into the team hotel, breaking coronavirus protocol at the time.

Arrow was dating Miss World Australia, Taylah Cannon, at the time – who promptly dumped him.

‘I know I have let a lot of people down, including my teammates, coaching staff and fans right across the rugby league community,’ a remorseful Arrow said.

‘For this I am truly sorry. I have fully cooperated with the NRL Integrity Unit, and I understand the scrutiny and criticism coming my way.’

And in August of 2022, Arrow branded a local council’s decision to euthanise his dog a ‘disgrace’ – despite the American Staffordshire Terrier killing a greyhound just three months after mauling another small dog in Sydney’s east.

‘I think it’s an absolute disgrace that they [Central Coast Council] couldn’t even notify me and at least give me the decency to go and say goodbye to him,’ Arrow told Channel 9.
