In his third season, Penix Jr. is still looking to make the impact that he had when he was at Washington in college. Penix Jr. did improve last season from his rookie year. As a rookie, he completed 58.1% of his passes. Unfortunately, in five games, he had just three touchdowns and matched that with three interceptions. Last year, he completed 60.1% of passes to go along with nine touchdowns and three interceptions in nine games. His legs haven’t been quite as helpful as they were in college, and maybe that’s a way to unlock him this year.
