A woman’s night out with friends nearly ended in tragedy when she was sideswiped by a speeding motorcyclist in Brazil.

Ferreria miraculously escaped with only bruises to her arms, legs, hips and back.

‘I just remember that I was sitting down talking, handling a bottle and bag, and I felt the impact,’ Ferreira told Brazilian news outlet G1.

‘You can see from the video how violent it was. I was lucky that I didn’t break anything.’

In a separate interview with SBT television, the manicurist revealed that the motorcyclist, who lives in the area, had been riding his bike at a high speed and passed by several times prior to the January 5 crash.

Ferreira said she her injuries might have been much worse if not for her rolling into another motorcycle parked nearby.

‘What saved me was that I hit the motorcycle,’ she said. ‘Otherwise, I could have hit another car that was on the street. And then I could have hit my head or suffered a fracture.’

The crash took place a day after a 55-year-old man was killed by a motorcyclist in Sapopemba. The victim’s six-year-old grandson was injured.
