Donald Trump declared the start of a “Golden Age of America” in his first remarks upon returning to the White House.

US President Donald Trump in his post-inauguration speech said “America’s golden age” has begun on Monday as he made a return to the White House. He said that the “decay of America” comes to an end with his ascent to the Oval Office.
He announced a slew of measures he will take with respect to immigration. He said he will impose a national emergency at the US-Mexico border and will send troops and more manpower along the border.
Trump said America will become a “manufacturing nation once again” and said he will help lower prices of daily products. He said the electric vehicle mandate will be revoked in order to save auto workers while addressing the gathering at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington D.C..
“The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer,” Donald Trump said.
He also said that “America First” will remain the motto of his administration and said he will reclaim sovereignty.
“The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end. And our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free,” he said.
In a bid to crack down on illegal drug trade, he said drug cartel gangs will be designated as “terrorist organisations”.
“I will send troops to the southern border to repel the disastrous invasion of our country. Under the orders I signed today, we will also be designating the cartels as foreign terrorist organisations,” he said.
The Republican said “woke policies” will not interfere with public and private life and said that he is signing an order that only allows people to identify as either male or female.
