This update eliminates the need to log out of one account to access another. Users can now seamlessly transition between their different WhatsApp accounts within the application.
This feature will be a welcome addition for users who manage multiple phone numbers. Currently, maintaining a second WhatsApp account often requires relying on WhatsApp Business, even for non-business purposes.
This new development will streamline the process, eliminating the need for a separate app and making it more convenient for users to juggle multiple numbers within the standard WhatsApp application.
Users can create a primary account or add an associate account. To do this, a QR code must be scanned. This feature, available to Android users for a year, will soon be released for iOS.
On Android, using two accounts simultaneously necessitates a dual SIM setup, but the new iOS update simplifies this process, allowing users to manage all their conversations within a single app.
This feature will allow users to manage conversations from multiple accounts within a single app, while keeping account information separate. Notifications, chats, backups, and settings will remain independent for each account, ensuring both function autonomously.
