A half-naked drunk driver jumped out of a stolen car moments before it smashed into a storefront in a wild stunt that was captured on video.
Surveillance cameras showed the driver, dressed only in shorts, leaping from the vehicle at the last second before skidding along the street as the car crashed on Sunday in the city of Indaiatuba in southeast Brazil
The speeding car slammed head-on into a candy shop, which was closed for the day.
The 25-year-old driver, whose name was not released, managed to quickly get to his feet before doubling over in pain.
The suspect told authorities that he had been drinking and doing drugs prior to the incident.
He was placed under arrest and underwent a toxicology exam.
In a shocking twist, he appeared before a judge Monday and was granted his provisional release without having to pay bail.
