An anti-vaccine nonprofit run by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. paid a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct almost $1million, it has been claimed.

Kennedy, President Trump’s Health and Human Services nominee, admitted in his senate confirmation hearings last week he faced two misconduct claims, but didn’t offer details because he said he was bound by confidentiality agreements.

He branded the allegations against him ‘frivolous’ and ‘unfounded’, and said he continues to deny all the claims against him.

But according to sources speaking to Mediaite, the Children’s Health Defense, an anti-vaccine nonprofit Kennedy served as the chairman of, paid one of these claimants a huge sum to end her allegations.

Insiders told the outlet Kennedy was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who also worked at the anti-vaccine group.

The exact payout was not disclosed, but was allegedly a high-six-figure sum under $1million.

The claims come as Kennedy has faced a number of allegations of sexual misconduct and personal scandals that threaten to upend his bid to lead the HHS, which is set to be voted on in the Senate on Tuesday.

Among the allegations were that he carried out an online tryst with former New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi after she interviewed him last year, and three women also associated with the Children’s Health Defense separately telling Mediaite they had relationships with him in the last year.

Before he faced the Senate last week, Kennedy was required to answer written questions about his background, including whether he had ever reached confidential settlements with people accusing him of misconduct.

He answered that he did, leading Democrat Senators to press him for details on the allegations against him and the settlements.

Kennedy answered at the time: ‘Twice, I have been targeted by frivolous, unfounded allegations, which I strenuously denied at the time and continue to deny.

‘I entered into confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements to prohibit these individuals from continuing to make these allegations.’

Kennedy, who is married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines, has come under scrutiny for his background since launching a long shot bid for the presidency in 2023.

Among the unsavory claims included the unearthing of a diary written by Kennedy in 2001, in which he allegedly detailed the affairs he carried out behind the back of his ex-wife Mary, who later committed suicide.

Kennedy used a section at the back of his diary, headed ‘cash accounts,’ to list the first names of at least 37 women he had cavorted with and gave each a mark out of ten.

He reportedly wrote of his guilt at continuously cheating on his wife, and said he was tortured by his ‘lust demons’, as he called them.

On days when he doesn’t cheat, Kennedy wrote ‘victory’ to signify that he resisted sexual temptation, and on a November 5, 2001, entry, reportedly wrote: ‘I’m like Adam and live in Eden, and I can have everything but the fruit. But the fruit is all I want.’

Last year, Kennedy’s love life again came under the spotlight as he was accused of having an online affair with Olivia Nuzzi, a former star political reporter with New York Magazine.

Nuzzi profiled Kennedy at his $7 million California home during his campaign for the White House, and the two reportedly went on to have ‘personal’ communications for months after.

Both denied their tryst ever turned physical, and although the scandal led to Nuzzi being ousted at the magazine, Hines has remained by her husband’s side since.

In October last year, three women also came forward claiming to have had romantic relationships with Kennedy within the last year.

Sources told Mediaite at the time that three women were also working at Kennedy’s Children’s Health Defense, and they decided to speak out in the wake of his scandal with Nuzzi.

A Kennedy spokesperson denied the allegations and said he ‘has had no romantic relationships with any woman other than his wife since their marriage.’
