For as long a history as they’ve had, it has been really evenly matched. The Falcons lead the all-time series with a record of 58-56. The Falcons are 4-2 over their past six matches against the Saints and have won the past two matches (both last season).
Since 2020, the Saints are up in the head-to-head matchups, going 7-5 in the 12 games the teams have played. It hasn’t always mattered who the home team was, but the Saints are 4-2 at home against the Falcons since 2020.
In November of last season, the Falcons won with ease in New Orleans, going 24-10. Kirk Cousins was still under center for Atlanta at that time. Tyler Shough was at quarterback for the Saints, but couldn’t get much going. In Week 18 of last season, the Falcons had a nice win, 19-17. The Saints scored a touchdown late in the game to keep it close, but the Falcons were in control for the majority of the game.
What will happen tonight as Michael Penix Jr. gets his first experience against New Orleans? Tyler Shough plays for the third time against Atlanta, and his team is 0-2. Fanatics Sportsbook is offering new users a chance to wager $20 and get $350 in bonus bets using promo code FOXNEWS350.
