Gypsy-Rose Blanchard reveals why she won’t be posting pictures of her newborn daughter Aurora

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard revealed why she and her fiancé Ken Urker will not be posting pictures of their five-week-old daughter Aurora Raina Urker on social media.

‘It has come to my attention that fake Gypsy accounts are posting pictures of random babies with the intent to gain followers and views,’ the 33-year-old ex-con – who boasts 795K Instagram followers – Instastoried on Wednesday.

‘I will not be posting pictures of my daughter nor would I post pictures of other babies. Please be cautious of what Gypsy accounts you follow and receive information from.’

Gypsy-Rose – who deleted all the videos off her TikTok account – further stressed that her newborn infant ‘is a minor and can’t consent to her image being used.’

‘We respect that fact,’ Blanchard explained to People on Wednesday.

‘There are many scam and fake accounts and an individual like myself can easily be misrepresented by the content that scammers put out. I care about the content that I put out and so it is extremely frustrating when I am misrepresented.’

The My Time to Stand author had previously written on January 5 that while she ‘understands everyone’s excitement and we appreciate the support’ they ‘value the privacy and safety of our daughter’ more.

Gypsy-Rose and her 31-year-old babydaddy originally met through the Chillicothe Correctional Center pen-pal program back in 2018, and they got pregnant immediately upon rekindling their on/off romance last April.

Blanchard had legally separated from ex-husband Ryan Scott Anderson on March 28 – three months after her release from prison – and they finalized their divorce on December 11.

‘I wish that she had gotten through this divorce process before [the pregnancy] happened,’ Ken confessed in the season two trailer of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.

The Louisiana native replied: ‘I’m labeled a “loose woman” a “ho.” I’ve already seen comments online of people saying that it should have been a condition of my parole to get my tubes tied.’

Fans can catch more drama when the second season of Gypsy-Rose’s reality show premieres March 10 on Lifetime.

In 2015, Blanchard gave her online boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn – who had an IQ of 82 – duct tape, gloves, and a knife to stab her physically-abusive mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard 17 times in the back while she slept in her bed.

The conspiring couple then stole $4,400 in cash from Dee Dee and mailed the murder weapon back to the autistic 35-year-old’s home in Wisconsin where they fled by bus.

Gypsy-Rose and Nicholas’ murder – which they blamed on Dee Dee’s undiagnosed Munchausen syndrome by proxy – inspired Hulu’s eight-part series The Act and Lifetime movie Love You to Death, both of which were released in 2019.

And while Blanchard served eight years of her decade-long sentence for second-degree murder, Godejohn is serving a life sentence without parole at Missouri’s Potosi Correctional Center plus an additional 25 years for armed criminal action.
