Emergency services have been dispatched to an “incident upon landing” at Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada.
In a post on X, the airport said it involved a flight arriving from Minneapolis, and that “all passengers and crew are accounted for”.
Local media reports suggest up to eight people are injured.
Ontario’s air ambulance service, Ornge, said “one paediatric patient is currently being transported to Sick Kids with critical injuries”.
It has dispatched three air ambulance helicopters and two Critical Care Land Ambulances to the scene, it added.
Images shared on social media show a plane which appears to have flipped over and is lying on its roof on the snow-covered tarmac. It is missing at least one of its wings.
The airport had been experiencing weather-related delays over the last few days, with heavy snowfall battering parts of Ontario.
