Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s son Kit has reportedly set his sights on being ‘the next Luke Littler’ as he’s decided to make his own path, swapping football for darts.

The nine-year-old, who is the WAG, 38, and the former Manchester United captain’s, 39, second youngest child, is obsessed with the sport and even had a birthday party themed around it.

In January, Kit beamed as he posed next to lavish balloons which had been inscribed with his name as well dart boards and huge number nine.

And earlier that month, the darts mad family attended the World Darts Championships at London’s Alexandra Palace and Kit got to meet Luke ‘The Nuke’ himself.

Issuing an update on what her sons are up to Coleen told The Sun: ‘The third one has steak for breakfast, this is the darts one, he wants to become a darts player at the minute.

‘Kai, he’s 15, and Klay, who’s going to be 12 in May, they’re both at the academy at Manchester United, they’ve been there for quite a few years now.

‘The youngest, he goes in at Everton, he’s just turned seven, but he absolutely loves it, and the third one, he’s retired. He’s retired a few times.’

At Alexandra Palace, Coleen was left soaked after she accidentally spilled beer on herself as she and her boys gleefully celebrated Luke Littler’s epic win after he beat three-time champion Michael van Gerwen.

Despite her celebrity status she got stuck in with the crowd as she and her boys partied at the raucous event, sitting at long tables while they watched the nail-biting final.

Coleen opted for a chic beige T-shirt with a blue and white striped trim, with the stunner teaming her top with a trendy gold watch and simple gold earrings.

Keen to document her night out, the WAG filmed her companions as they excitedly jumped up and down as 17-year-old Luke was crowned the youngest world champion in the history of the sport.

But things went slightly pear-shaped as in her excitement, Coleen revealed that she’d accidentally spilled beer on herself, with the mum-of-four heard screaming in her Instagram video as the booze splashed onto her.

Her yell momentarily alarmed Kit, as he looked around in surprise at his mother before turning back to the action.

Captioning her post, Coleen penned: ‘Amazing night… kids were buzzing!! Congratulations @lukethenukelittler.’

She then added: ‘That’s me screaming getting beer all over me’, alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

Coleen added: 'Kai, he's 15, and Klay, who's going to be 12 in May, they're both at the academy at Manchester United, they've been there for quite a few years now'

It comes after Coleen has revealed her husband Wayne won’t be rushing into anymore football managing jobs after he was sacked from Plymouth Argyle.

The former Manchester United captain, 39, returned to his wife, 38, and children in Cheshire after another disastrous spell in management ended after seven months.

After the stint with Plymouth didn’t work out, Coleen reckons Wayne is perfectly happy sticking with his punditry work for the forseeable future.

Speaking on Westlife star Nicky Byrne’s podcast, she said: ‘At the minute, he’s really happy on TV, podcasts and just being at home. Plymouth was a bit far.

‘It hasn’t worked out at certain clubs. It’s something he’s passionate about. It’s something he might revisit. He’s passionate about TV.’

Coleen enjoys having Wayne at home more and also discussed the struggles of raising their four boys Kai, 14, Klay, Kit, nine, and Cass, six, at the height of his career.

She said: ‘At times it’s like being a single parent, especially when he was at Manchester United and England. You could never rely on a plan. I like a plan and a schedule. I found that hard.’
