Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Joseph Baena, announced a tragic family loss.
The 27-year-old budding actor revealed in an Instagram post on Wednesday that his young nephew, Vicente, has died.
Joseph shared that it’s been the most ‘confusing’ week, adding that ‘we never truly know what weight a person carries or what battles they struggle with.’
‘It’s been a week since my nephew, Vicente, left us and it’s been the most difficult and confusing week of my family’s life,’ he wrote at the start of his caption, sharing a number of photos of Vicente with the family.
‘All I can think about is what a kind, funny, caring and smart kid he is and how much we all love him. We miss him so much and still can’t believe this is all real,’ he went on.
Joseph shared that he was ‘mad, confused and sad’ about the tragic loss.Â

‘I can’t help but be frustrated, mad, confused and sad for this tragic event, but I also think about how we never truly know what weight a person carries or what battles they struggle with.’
He then made a heartfelt appeal to his fanbase, emphasizing that life is ‘worth living’.Â
‘As I mourn with my family I pray that all of you that are struggling, that are hurting and that are tired, may find the strength to be kind to yourself. To find the help that you need. To know that your life is worth living. To know that even if you may not feel it right now, know that you are loved.’
