Patriots vs Bears | Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at 8:15 ET | Soldier Field, Chicago, IL | Prime Video
The key to any team’s success and failure is almost always placed on the quarterback. Both of the quarterbacks in this game are young, elite, and ready to dominate the league. They get a chance to make an even bigger name for themselves in prime time during Thursday Night Football.
Drake Maye, quarterback for the Patriots, has been further along in the league than his opponent. Last year, he took his team to the Super Bowl, and he was even a consideration for MVP last year. Maye was selected third overall in the 2024 draft, and while he didn’t start right away, he did make a decent impact in his rookie year. Last season, he threw for 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Caleb Williams, the Bears quarterback, was drafted in the same draft as Maye, but he was selected two spots ahead as the top pick in the NFL Draft. He took over immediately for the Bears, but didn’t win Rookie of the Year. His first season was a bit of a mixed bag, but his second season was very strong as he led the Bears past the Packers in the playoffs and lost to the Rams.
Maye and Williams will always be intertwined with the 2024 Draft, but these games give them a chance to battle head-to-head. Neither is having a great third year. Maye has had interception troubles, and Williams has been sidelined with injuries.
Tonight is your chance to get $200 in bonus bets and four sweat-free wagers from Betr with promo code FOXNEWS.
