Redmi Watch Move is made in India and comes with a budget price tag
Xiaomi has unveiled its first made in India budget Redmi Watch Move in the market this week. The new smartwatch carries a host of features, powered by the HyperOS version, gets IP68 rating for durability and promises more than a week’s battery life. The Redmi Watch Move also has a slew of health sensors to keep you monitoring daily.
Redmi Watch Move Price In India
The Redmi Watch Move launch price in India is Rs 1,999 and it will be available for sale in India from May 1 onwards.
Redmi Watch Move Features
The new Redmi watch model has a 1.85-inch AMOLED display in the square format which gives you more real estate for viewing the content. It does get Always-on Display support but doesn’t come with any protection layer. The new watch runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS version which is not based on WearOS but offers its own customised ecosystem. The watch weighs around 25 grams and comes with a TPU strap which won’t cause rashes on the wrist.
It comes with health features like heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, sleep cycle and stress level monitoring. You also get 140 preset sports modes but even with the IP68 rating we don’t advise people to wear it for swimming. You get Hindi language support with the watch and the ability to take Bluetooth calls.
You can make it work with both Android and iOS devices using the Mi Fitness app. Redmi Watch Move packs a 300mAh battery which is claimed to last for up to 14 days and pull up to 10 days with heavy usage and 5 days if you keep AOD turned on all the time.
The budget watch segment in India has saturated in the last quarters (reports vouch for the trend) so Redmi will need a stronger pull than the price to get people to buy the new product.
