He’s already one of the biggest stars in the ring.

And now Anthony Joshua could be set to make his mark in Hollywood, as he’s reportedly been approached to appear in a whopping four blockbusters.

While the two-time heavyweight world champion, 35, hasn’t suggested he’ll hang up his boxing gloves any time soon, he is said to have been flooded with offers to take up a career in the movies ‘if the time is right’.

According to The Sun, one his pals revealed: ‘AJ is fully committed to training right up until the moment he retires from boxing but offers from Hollywood are already pouring in. 

‘He can’t devote the time to extra projects at the moment but his team are mulling over the offers to see what he could take on if the time was right.

And the insider also told the publication that the sports star has been approached about working behind-the-scenes as well, by making a move into executive producing

‘AK has already been approached to star in four major films, with top acting agents all clamouring to sign him. His good friend Michael B. Jordan is also keen for him to appear in Creed 4 and will do anything to make it work. The future is really bright.’

While they also hinted that Anthony could even be in within a chance to play the ‘next James Bond’. 

And the insider also told the publication that the sports star has been approached about working behind-the-scenes as well, by making a move into executive producing, like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Anthony already owns a  production firm, SBX Studios, which has produced content for brands such as Hugo Boss, Lucozade, Under Armour, and Turkish Airlines, and created content for figures such as Raheem Sterling and Mo Farah.

Last year, it was reported that his company was eyeing up making a biopic on Luke Littler, putting down a multi-million pound bid to secure permission to adapt the darts star’s story.

Meanwhile, Anthony hinted at his acting career aspirations earlier this month, by joining forces with Creed star Michael, 38.

The pair teamed up to surprise young aspiring actors from Watford with a once-in-a-lifetime acting workshop, organised through Anthony’s community charity, Clean Herts Community (CHC).

As he’s currently busy training in Nigeria, AJ video-called into the session via Zoom and teased a surprise guest.

In a video he shared on his social media, the students could be seen erupting into scream and cheers as Michael walked into the room.

Joining him was fellow actor Jack O’Connell, and together they offered invaluable advice, shared behind-the-scenes stories from the film industry, and helped the young performers hone their craft.

The young actors were later invited to attend the red carpet premiere of Sinners, Michael and Jack’s latest film, at London’s Leicester Square.

The workshop is the latest in a series of initiatives from CHC, which aims to create meaningful opportunities for young people in Anthony’s hometown of Watford.

This year alone, the charity has hosted football camps, cooking classes, and science workshops, and even teamed up with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in November to involve Watford youth in the launch of his Christmas blockbuster Red One.

The first movie was released back in 2015, and was followed by two sequels in 2018 and 2023, all receiving rave reviews and bringing in millions at the box office and  Michael has confirmed that a fourth film in on its way, with him returning to direct. 

Last year, Anthony revealed that Rocky was his favourite movie of all time when being interviewed by nine year old Josie Bell for children’s current affairs magazine The Week Junior.

He explained: It’s about a guy who has potential. But he has to become his own hero. It’s a really good story about a guy who becomes a famous boxer.’
