A group of United fans were spotted engaging in the pre-game entertainment by lighting up smoke flares in the city.
In a comic twist, a fan donning the jersey of Arsenal, Tottenham’s sworn cross-town rivals, walked down the road amid a flurry of white shirts and was heckled at, as expected.

Elsewhere, the tempers ran high as fans of the respective sides nearly had a coming-together as a brawl between the groups of supporters broke out, ahead of the Battle of Bilbao, which could grant one of the sides the chance at a UEFA Champions League berth next season.
