July brings a feast of flavourful events from Mumbai’s bustling neighbourhoods to Jaipur’s regal tables.

This July, Mumbai and Jaipur are buzzing with exciting culinary and cultural experiences you won’t want to miss. From celebrating India’s rich rice heritage to turning nostalgia into bite-sized comfort, and honouring Awadhi traditions to Andheri’s bold new flavours—there’s something for every kind of food lover and cultural explorer.

AKSHAT: A Celebration of India’s Forgotten Native Rice at Barn Cafe by Food Square

Barn Cafe at Food Square, Bandra, in collaboration with OOO Farms, presents AKSHAT—a unique cultural showcase dedicated to India’s indigenous rice varieties, on July 19, 2025. With OOO Farms conserving over 3,100 native rice types, the event will feature a curated display of 50+ rare folk rice varieties—ranging from white, red, and black to medicinal and aromatic grains.

The experience will include expert talks on rice biodiversity and traditional knowledge, a showcase of OOO Farms’ indigenous seed bank, and a tasting of five traditional dishes crafted using native rice.

AKSHAT is an invitation to rediscover India’s ancestral grains—their stories, tastes, and timeless relevance.

Mumbai, July 2025 — Woodside Inn’s iconic Beer & Burger Festival celebrates a major milestone this July as it turns 18 with the theme “Coming of Age: Growing Up in Mumbai.” Paying homage to the city’s unique charm and the moments that shape its people, this year’s edition marks the festival’s official step into adulthood.

“We’ve reimagined the festival format to reflect the journey of growing up—as people, and as a brand in our beautiful city of Mumbai,” shares Pankil Shah. This nostalgic-yet-fresh theme comes to life through burgers and beers that feel like home.

From July 7 to 27, all three Woodside Inn outposts—Colaba, Andheri, and Bandra—will serve a menu inspired by comfort food and childhood memories, with a twist. New this year: an indulgent sandwich lineup.

Start with Rainy Day Romance, a creamy miso corn curd patty co-created with Mumbai Foodie, paired with High Tea, an ale inspired by cutting chai.

Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar presents SHROT X Noshe Jaan, a special three-day pop-up from 18th to 20th July 2025, celebrating hyperlocal cuisine and timeless Awadhi flavours.

Hosted at SHROT, the hotel’s signature dining destination, this collaboration brings Mumbai’s beloved Noshe Jaan to Jaipur. Guests can expect a soulful menu of slow-cooked classics, rich spices, and nostalgic desserts.
