Ladli Behna Yojana 27th Installment: Ahead of the festive season, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the monthly assistance under the Ladli Behna Yojana will be increased to Rs 1,500 starting from Bhai Dooj. He assured that this higher payout will be continued consistently in the future.

The scheme aims to promote economic self-reliance of women, improve their health and nutrition levels, and strengthen their role in family decision-making.

Ladli Behna Yojana-27th Installment Disbursal

On August 7, 2025, CM Mohan Yadav transferred the 27th instalment of the scheme — Rs 1,250 monthly assistance plus Rs 250 as a Raksha Bandhan gift — totalling Rs 1,500 per beneficiary, directly into the bank accounts of over 1.26 crore women in the state.

How to Check Ladli Behna Yojana Instalment Status

  1. Visit the official website: cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in
  2. Click on “Application Status” or “Payment Status”.
  3. Enter your Application Number or Samagra ID along with your registered mobile number.
  4. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number — verify it.
  5. Your payment status will be displayed on the screen.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Who can apply: All married women (including widows, divorced, and deserted women) who are local residents of Madhya Pradesh, born between 01 January 1961 and 01 January 2000, and do not fall under any ineligibility category.
  • Income limit: Applicants whose family income exceeds ₹2.5 lakh annually are ineligible.
  • Income tax restriction: If any member of the applicant’s family is an income tax payer, the applicant becomes ineligible.
  • Unmarried women: Not eligible under the scheme.

Aadhaar-Linked DBT-Enabled Bank Account

An Aadhaar-linked DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) enabled bank account means that the applicant’s bank account is linked to her Aadhaar, and the assistance amount is credited directly using her Aadhaar number.

How to Enable Aadhaar-Linked DBT

  1. Visit your bank branch or an authorised kiosk of the bank.
  2. Fill the consent form to link your Aadhaar with your bank account and enable DBT.
  3. After e-KYC verification by the bank, your account will be Aadhaar-linked and DBT-enabled.
