PM Modi At Nassau Community Event In Nassau: PM Modi thanked members of Indian diaspora community who came in large numbers to attend the Modi&US event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a packed Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale on Sunday where thousands of members of the Indian diaspora had gathered to welcome him to the US.
“Your love is my good fortune. Your talent is unmatched,” PM Modi told attendees, dressed in Indian traditional attires and Modi&US shirts, waving Indian and US flags. Modi&US is the group that organised the event in New York.
“You are our nation’s greatest, strongest ambassadors,” Modi said, referring to the contributions made by Indian-Americans to American society.
The event began with traditional dances by artist groups and ahead of PM Modi’s address singers Hanumankind, Aditya Gadhvi and Devi Sriprasad performed before an energetic crowd.
