Team India looked focused during their practice session at the West Australian Cricket Association (WACA) Stadium ahead of the 2024/25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India is currently preparing for the upcoming five-match Test cricket battle against Australia on away soil.
Weeks ahead of the opening clash, the Indian Test squad were spotted practising their batting strokes in the nets in Perth. A fan has now shared a compilation of clips from their training session on X. The video features glimpses of stars including Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Shubman Gill. “Some snippets from Team India’s net session at the WACA today,” read the post.
The video began with Virat Kohli playing some defensive shots in the nets. The star batter was rocking an all-white training kit as he hit the ball three times. Jasprit Bumrah was spotted next as he performed his signature run-up while delivering a couple of balls. In another clip, Kohli could be seen fixing his bat’s grip while kneeling on the pitch. Shubman Gill and Sarfaraz Khan were having some on the sidelines. Indian coach Gautam Gambhir was seen having a word with one of his staff members in the video.
Fans couldn’t stop themselves from reacting after seeing the Indian Test squad in action ahead of the premier series. One of them wrote, “Paying my internet bills to see videos like this.”
