In Bo Nix’s rookie season, he put up a strong campaign, but the Broncos weren’t quite great. In his sophomore season, the team had a lot of improvement, going 14-3 and reaching the AFC Championship game. Nix was injured in the first playoff game and couldn’t play. After offseason ankle surgery, Nix is now back and looking to build upon his numbers, which were very similar in his first two years.
Patrick Mahomes
We’ve all seen the magic that Mahomes possesses on the field. No-look passes, crazy angles, keeping plays alive, and winning games that seem lost. However, last season was the worst of his career, and one that saw it ended with a torn ACL and LCL. Somehow, he is ready to play for Week 1, and we all should be watching Mahomes closely to see how he responds to his first true game action since the injury.
