Aadar Jain, son of Rima Jain and cousin of Kareena Kapoor, celebrated his Roka with his fiancee Alekha Advani, a Mumbai-based social entrepreneur on Saturday night, November 24. The intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family. Many videos and pictures have surfaced from the star-studded event. Among these, a clip capturing the filmy way Aadar goes down on his knee for his fiancee has gone viral.
The heartwarming video features Aadar and Alekha vibing to dhol beats during the ring exchange. Like a Bollywood hero, Aadar goes down on his knees, holds his lady love’s hand, and gently slips the ring on her finger. After this, he gave a forehead kiss and a tight hug. Alekha could be seen visibly happy as she matched steps with Aadar during the memorable moment.
The pair could be seen having a great time with their loved ones in attendance. A close look also allows a glimpse of actor Randhir Kapoor sitting behind. He had a sweet smile on his face, appreciating the celebration of his grandson.
Aadar and Alekha could be seen twinning in off-white indo-western ensembles. Aadar donned a deep-neck kurta, layering it with an embroidered jacket. On the other hand, Alekha looked pretty in a lehenga. She paired it with a matching embroidered dupatta and styled her golden brown hair in soft curls.
The special celebration was attended by Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Navya Naveli Nanda, Ranbir Kapoor with his mother, Neetu Kapoor, and more.
Aadar Jain proposed to Alekha during their Maldives vacation in September this year. The dreamy pictures featured an elaborate setup on a beach. A stage was set on the sand, with the words ‘Marry Me’ written behind. Sharing the beautiful pictures, he wrote, “My first crush, my best friend & now, my forever.”
Aadar was earlier dating actress Tara Sutaria with whom he made his relationship official in 2020. However, the duo parted ways a few years down, and the same was indirectly confirmed by Tara, who declared her relationship status single.
On the work front, Aadar Jain made his Bollywood debut with Qaidi Band in 2017 and has been a part of films such as Hello Charlie and Mogul.
