TikTok star found dead in car crash after being reported missing more than 10 days ago

An aspiring TikTok star who disappeared after a night out in Georgia has been found dead in a car crash, his family have said.

Jiare Schneider, 31, who vanished on November 15 after visiting a strip club, was discovered in a car that crashed into the woods after last being seen on the road where he died.

‘This morning, a group of us gathered, and we came out here, and we went to the woods… and there he was,’ family friend Germequa Bell told Fox 5 Atlanta.

‘We knew when he disappeared that something was up.’

Cops did not comment on when the deadly crash took place, but a Clayton County Police Department spokesman did confirm the vehicle was ‘deep in the woodlice, which indicates there was a fast speed approaching the intersection’.

‘Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle traveled westbound across Brown Road, through overgrowth and into a tree at the rear of the property,’ police said in a statement, per Atlanta News First.

Lieutenant Ricky Porter told Fox 5 that Clayton County Police had received a call from the friends and family of Schneider, who has been missing from the Forest Park area.

The content creator’s family members found him on Sunday inside a silver Toyota 4Runner – which was the last vehicle he was seen driving before his death.

The forest where Schneider’s body was located is around 25 minutes away from a content creator house, where the internet personality would sometimes spend time.

His devastated family members suggested to Fox 5 Atlanta that Schneider may have been visiting the house before the fatal car smash.

Suspicions were raised within the family when they noticed Schneider hadn’t called his son in a number of days – which was unusual for him.

His sister, Jasnique Oliver, told Fox 5 that her nephew has a chromosomal disorder – known as DiGeorge Syndrome – which is why Schneider ‘calls his son like every day’.

According to the Mayo Clinic, DiGeorge syndrome, also known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, ‘is a condition caused when a small part of chromosome 22 is missing. This deletion causes several body systems to develop poorly.’

Oliver added that as well as not checking up on his children, he had also not logged in on his social media even though he was trying to grow his presence online.

When he had failed to upload content for over a week, Oliver knew something terrible had happened.

‘He wants to get himself out there, you know, whether it’s with his music, or whatever he wants to get into,’ she told the broadcaster.

A friend then called the worried sister to tell her Schneider had been missing for a week, causing the family’s concerns to grow.

Tragically, it was Schneider’s out-of-town family who stumbled across the vehicle wreckage and his body – not local police.

The family said that even though they were relieved to have found the body of their loved one, they were frustrated with law enforcement for their ‘lack of help’.

‘Of course, [we’re] relieved that we found him, but still angry that we didn’t get the resources, the help that we were asking,’ family friend Germequa Bell told Fox 5.

‘His son, that’s all we can think about,’ Bell said.

The Clayton County Police Department shared news of Schneider’s disappearance in a post on Facebook on Nov. 25.

‘We, along with neighboring departments, are assisting Forest Park City Police in their efforts,’ the post read in part.

‘Jiare was last seen wearing a black sweater, and long black pants. He has full sleeve tattoos, and his hair styled in dreads.

‘If you have seen Jiare or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact the Forest Park City Police Department or call 911 immediately,’ the post concluded.

Police have not yet confirmed how Schneider died. The incident is still under investigation, according to Atlanta News First.
