Bigg Boss 18 is heading toward its grand finale and it has been nothing short of a thrilling ride for audiences. Among the most talked-about contestants is Karan Veer Mehra whose journey in the house has kept everyone on their toes. Before entering Bigg Boss 18, the TV actor had already made his mark by winning the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. His time in the Bigg Boss house is filled with ups and downs.
Karan’s journey was greatly influenced by his friendship with Shilpa Shirodkar and the unwavering support of Chum Darang. He became known for his mix of light-hearted conversations, witty one-liners and his special bond with actor Vivian Dsena. Early on, Karan was often criticised for staying away from the drama in the house and mostly keeping to himself. But as time passed, he began to voice his opinions and take a stand on various issues.
There came a point when Karan and Vivian’s friendship took an unexpected turn. Vivian claimed that Karan had been jealous of him. Despite Vivian’s assertions that Karan held no significance in his life, Karan consistently approached him, seeking clarification about their friendship.
One of the most talked-about aspects of Karan’s Bigg Boss journey was his growing affection for Chum Darang. He expressed his feelings for her multiple times though he later held back when she hinted at the possibility of reconciling with her ex.
In the show, Karan gave viewers a glimpse into his personal life, opening up about his past relationships including his failed marriages. He also revealed that he did not cry when his father passed away.
Karan was also involved in the feud that erupted between Kashish Kapoor and Avinash Mishra. The argument began when Avinash accused Kashish of faking a romantic angle to gain more audience attention. The argument quickly escalated, with Kashish calling Avinash a “womaniser” and a “cheapster.” To resolve the conflict, Bigg Boss assigned a task where Karan represented Avinash as his lawyer while Rajat Dalal stood for Kashish. Karan’s win in this task earned him further recognition.
In the Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan slammed Karan for his stance during the Ticket To Finale task. Salman questioned why Karan, instead of choosing himself, chose to play for Chum Darang. Karan responded confidently he believed he already secured a spot in the Top 5 of Bigg Boss 18.
With the finale just days away, it is uncertain whether Karan’s roller-coaster journey will lead him to victory or if he will be eliminated before the grand finale.
