Twenty-four-year-old Priyansh Arya sizzled with his maiden IPL century for Punjab Kings (PBKS) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur on Tuesday. Opening the innings, the left-hander smashed 103 off just 42 balls to help PBKS put up a brilliant 219/6 on board.
He reached his three figures in just 39 balls, becoming the fastest uncapped player to the mark in IPL history and the second-fastest Indian. Priyansh is a product of the Delhi cricketing system. He was recognized as a big talent when coming through the age-group cricket ranks and was the highest-scorer in the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League with 608 runs, including two centuries.
