Adam Sandler has opened up about how his two daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler express their concern for his well-being.

On Tuesday, August 20, the 57-year-old actor told People that 18-year-old Sadie and 15-year-old Sunny want him to be conscious of his health.

The Big Daddy star shared: ‘They always look out for me and my health just like I used to with my dad.’

He explained, ‘You go, “Man, I want this guy around,” so I used to scream at my dad to quit smoking, and my kids scream at me to just calm down and try to eat a little more like a normal person.’

Sandler shares the teenage girls with wife Jackie Sandler, 49, who he wed in 2003.

It comes after he previously revealed during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he struggles to exercise.

‘I used to take working out so serious … and now I can’t f*****g do it,’ he confessed.

The Hollywood vet explained, ‘I play hoop and then I eat. Every time I’m eating I’m going, “What are you doing, man? You don’t need to do this.”

‘I can’t stop, just got a little bit of thickness all over.’

He also shared that Sadie proposed he work out with the trainer he used for 2008’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

‘Now it’s f*****g rough,’ he went on to say. ‘My kids, one daughter, Sadie’s always saying, “Dad, get the trainer from Zohan? Why would you ever give that up? Why did you stop?”‘

The father-of-two said he told his daughter, ‘It’s a lot of work.’

He added, ‘I just can’t get back in there. She’s right about everything. I don’t promise her. I go, “Let me think about that; that’s a good idea.”‘

Sandler recently confirmed in an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that Travis Kelce will have a cameo in his forthcoming movie Happy Gilmore 2.

‘Travis mentioned it so we have a nice something for Travis,’ Sandler said. ‘He’s going to come by.’

He added, ‘He’s a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.’

Kelce is a big fan of the original film and said earlier this year on his New Heights podcast that he would love to appear in the sequel.
