According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Napoli has made an initial bid in the range of €50 million for Garnacho, a price that United are not willing to accept currently.

The chaos in Old Trafford continues to unravel with new twists and turns. And now, it seems as if Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho is in the thick of it.
Recent reports suggest that Napoli are in advanced talks with Manchester United to acquire the services of the young Argentine, with a promise of offering striker Victor Osimhen to the Red Devils at a discounted price.
Garnacho, who has been one of the consistent bright spots in a disparaged Man United this season, has seemingly lost favour with new manager Ruben Amorim.
With the likes of Amad Diallo taking over the spotlight with his scintillating performances recently, and with Amorim’s philosophy of football not suited to get the best out of Garnacho, the Argentine has been put up on the chopping block.
Amorim and United are in dire need of a new left back to fill in the holes. But, Napoli, according to Il Mattino, who have taken an active interest in the Argentine, have made it known to the Red Devils that now-loaned striker Victor Osimhen could potentitally be thrown into the deal at a disounted price, if they are to reach an agreement.

But the Italian outfit have offered Man United a “discount” to sign the €75million-rated Osimhen, who is currently out on loan at Galatasaray, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Napoli, who recently sold premier winger Kvicha Kvaratshkelia to French giants PSG, are looking to replace the spot left out by the Georgian with Garnacho.
But, the Italians have competition in the form of the Blues, as Chelsea are also reported to be eyeing Garnacho as a potential signing.
Enzo Maresca might have to deal with the possible exit of attacker Christopher Nkunku, opening up the slot for Garnacho to fill.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has also confirmed that Chelsea hold interest in the 20-year-old, viewing him as a top talent with huge potential.
This comes after TEAMtalk revealed on Friday that Garnacho is open to a Chelsea move if it brings him one step closer to his dream of representing Real Madrid in the future.
