The special Netflix segment featured Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina answering the same questions from each other’s perspective. The list of questions included their hidden talents, a habit that irritates them the most, what is on their phone wallpaper, etc. While most of the answers were correct, it also gave fans some insights into the lives of their favourite actors. During the segment Alia stated that Vedang’s hidden talent was how well he sang; on the other hand, Vedang mentioned how the actress was very observant. Towards the end, Vedang Raina also mentions that, according to him, the director of Jigra, Vasan Bala, liked Alia more than the two of them.
Jigra is an action-packed prison-break thriller that focuses on the relationship between siblings. Alia Bhatt plays Satya, and Vedang Raina portrays her brother, Ankur. Vasan Bala directed the film and co-wrote it with Debashish Irengbam. The film follows Alia Bhatt’s character, Satya, on a daring journey to save her brother Ankur, played by Vedang Raina, who faces a death sentence in a distant country. The film takes viewers on a thrilling voyage filled with suspense and emotional drama.
Earlier during an interview with Man’s World, Vedang Raina stated how the film has had an impact on him. He shared, “Alia [Bhatt] would be in the scene, hit all the right notes with precision and get out of the character as soon as she hears ‘cut’. But I couldn’t, it is not easy for me to come in and out of character. It did impact my mental health a bit.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is all set to star in Alpha along with Sharvari Wagh. The film is slated to release next year. On the other hand, before Jigra, Vedang Raina was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
