Rayudu, who is the joint-most successful player in IPL history with six titles to his name, has included seven Mumbai Indians legends in his all-time MI-CSK IPL XI.

Former Indian batter Ambati Rayudu, who played eight IPL seasons for Mumbai Indians and six for Chennai Super Kings and won three titles each with both of them, has picked his MI-CSK combined XI. Rayudu, who made his debut in the world’s richest franchise cricket league during the 2009 season as a Mumbai Indians player, included himself as an impact player and picked seven Mumbai Indians legends in the XI.
Rayudu, who finished his IPL career with 4348 runs in 204 matches, picked Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma as his two openers and included Mr IPL Suresh Raina as No. 3 batter. Tendulkar played 78 IPL matches for Mumbai Indians and scored 2334 runs whereas Rohit, who joined the Mumbai-based franchise in IPL 2011 mega auction has amassed a total of 5458 runs in 212 IPL matches played so far as MI player in addition to taking up one wicket.
Raina, who has now donned the hat of a commentator, finished his IPL career with 4687 runs in 176 matches for the Chennai-based franchise. The former left-handed batter is still the leading run scorer for CSK in IPL history.

Rayudu included MI’s Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard as his No. 4 and 5 batters and followed them with MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo. Pollard played all 13 seasons in the IPL for Mumbai Indians and won five titles, whereas Bravo was part of the MI set-up in the IPL before joining CSK in the IPL 2011 mega auction.
For the two fast bowlers’ role in the all-time XI, Rayudu included MI greats Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga, whereas Harbhajan Singh was his choice for the sole specialist spinner. Malinga finished his IPL career with 170 wickets in 122 matches for MI, and Bumrah has picked up 165 wickets in 133 matches played so far.
Harbhajan, on the other hand, played 136 IPL matches for MI and scored 799 runs in addition to taking up 127 wickets, and as a CSK player in IPL 2018 and 2019, he played 24 matches and finished with 23 wickets.
