Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a visit to France, received a rousing welcome from the Indian diaspora that gathered to get a glimpse of him.
Videos have emerged from France, showing members of Indian community chanting “Modi Ki Guarantee” in reference to BJP’s landslide victory in the Delhi assembly elections.
A group of men were heard singing, “Jeet liya hai Dilli, ye to Modi ki guarantee hai.” A man was also seen beating drums as part of celebrations. Some of them were seen wearing a head gear and holding Indian flags in their hands.

Another video showed, Prime Minister Modi interacting with another crowd of Indian diaspora. An elderly man shook hands with the Prime Minister while praising him for respecting all the religions.
PM Modi embarked on a three-day visit to France on Monday. The PM is expected to join French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris to co-chair the AI Action Summit on Tuesday.
“Landed in Paris a short while ago. Looking forward to the various programmes here, which will focus on futuristic sectors like AI, tech and innovation,” Modi said in a post on X upon his arrival.
Both the leaders will holds bilateral discussions and interact with business leaders, as per officials familiar with the details. This is Modi’s sixth visit to France, according to officials.
On Wednesday, PM Modi and Macron will head to the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille, overseen by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, to honour the Indian soldiers who fought in World War I. Thereafter, the prime minister will head to the US for the second phase of his two-nation visit.
