Delhi Election News: Firing a fresh salvo at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, senior BJP leader, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister did not get any work done in 10 years and only focussed on opening liquor shops near schools and temples.

Addressing an election rally in Jangpura on the last day of campaigning, Amit Shah said, “In the last 10 years of tenure, Sisodia has not done a single work. He only opened liquor shops near schools and temples.”

“You should ask him, what did he do that he had to leave Patparganj (constituency). He thinks he can make false promises here now after deceiving the people of Patparganj. There is only one Education Minister in the country who went to jail in the liquor scam,” he added.

Amit Shah Jibes Arvind Kejriwal Over Toxic Yamuna Charge

Referring to the row over AAP chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s toxic Yamuna remark, he said, “Kejriwal had said that he would take a dip in river Yamuna, but he did not do so. Kejriwal ji, you did not clean the Yamuna River, but today I want to say that we will construct the Yamuna River Front on the river in three years after being voted to power.”
