The TV show Suman Indori premiered in September 2024. It stars Ashnoor Kaur, Zain Imam and Anita Hassanandani in lead roles. The latest entry to add intrigue to the show’s plot is Angad Hasija. Last seen in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, the actor plays the role of Vikram in the show. In a recent chat, Angad revealed that he left the last show midway to complete the final schedule of his upcoming Punjabi film as he did not have an option. Adding further, he also opened up on his excitement to work with the star cast of Suman Indori.
Angad Hasija immediately accepted Vikram’s role in Suman Indori when he was offered the project, as he told ETimes in a recent interaction. The actor said, “When the role was offered to me, I felt really happy because it’s a popular show with an amazing star cast. I already know most of the people there. Zain Imam is a good friend of mine, and the director is also a good friend because I’ve worked with him on a show for Dangal. The entire crew is very close to me. This is the first time I’m working on a project where I know the whole crew, so I was really excited. I’ve worked with Sai Ji before on Phulwa, and I know Anita Hassanandani very well too. Since I know everyone, it feels like I’m meeting my family back home.”
When asked to comment on his role in the daily soap, Angad Hasija said, “My character’s look is quite formal, and the role itself is quite amazing. It’s a positive character who comes into Suman’s life to support her, take care of her, and stand by her through thick and thin.”
Angad Hasija did not feel any pressure and was confident when he signed the show midway. The actor believes that he has been given warm response in his previous show and the audience loved him despite joining midway. Given his past record, he is hopeful that the viewers will support him, as he confessed during the chat.
Angad started his career in 2008 with the popular show Bidaai and became a household name with his roles in daily soaps like Ishq Aaj Kal, Tera Rang Chadeya, Ram Milaye Jodi and many more.
