Apple has confirmed the M4 Mac launch for next week

Apple has confirmed that next week is going to be Mac on your calendars which more or less confirms the incoming M4 MacBook and other Mac devices. Apple introduced the M4 chipset with the iPad Pro earlier this year, and it has also announced iPad Mini 7 version recently. So, the company doesn’t need a full-fledged event to launch the M4 upgrades, and it seems the brand is happy to go in the fashion.

The Apple update about the big launches come via Greg Joswiak, SVP Marketing at Apple, who shared this post on X on Thursday:

The post has a cheeky Mark (Mac) your calendars and a clear timeline for when the new Macs will be announced, starting on Monday, which is November 4. His post also shows the Finder icon with the AI glow time colours, which hints at the new Apple Intelligence hardware for the Mac users.

The Apple M4 launch update once again corroborates Mark Gurman’s report for Bloomberg this week. Gurman had pointed out that Apple will be inviting select media to get a hands-on of the new Mac devices, and is unlikely to have a full-scale launch event to bring these products.

The M4 MacBook Pro was recently leaked and unboxed by a Russian YouTuber, who claims to have bought the device even before the product launches. The clip of the MacBook Pro model clearly shows the M4 processor written on the box, along with other details like 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage.

According to reports, the M4 chip will primarily improve the overall performance, but one Mac model will undergo significant alterations. This could be a new Mac mini model, which the analyst claims will be released this year.

Apple is reportedly ending the 8GB RAM model for MacBooks and starting its lineup with a base of 16GB RAM from now on as the new macOS version supports Apple Intelligence features.
