Apple M4 MacBook Pro, iMac And More To Launch Next Week: What We Expect To See

Last Updated:

The new MacBook Pro with M4 chipset and other Macs could be announced next week

Apple launched the iPad Mini 7 recently but the big M4 Mac upgrades are expected to be announced without a launch event next week.

The wait could be finally over as Apple could announce the new M4-powered Mac lineup next week. The update comes from the reliable Mark Gurman from Bloomberg on Wednesday, and seems in line with its earlier prediction of an end-of-the-month launch of the new MacBook Pro and other models.

Gurman also points out that Apple will be inviting select media to get a hands-on of the new Mac devices, and is unlikely to have a full-scale launch event to bring these products.

Apple M4 MacBook Pro Launch But No Event?

Apple recently launched the iPad Mini 7 version through a press note and other coverages. The company is not expected to host an event to announce the M4 Macs which now seems quite possible because Apple has not sent any invite for the launch event till date and if the launch is next week, we might never see it come. The M4 MacBook Pro was recently leaked and unboxed by a Russian YouTuber, who claims to have bought the device even before the product launches.

The video of the rumoured M4 MacBook Pro will surely have Apple worried, especially as the company keeps most of the unreleased products and news close to its chest. The clip of the MacBook Pro model clearly shows the M4 processor written on the box, along with other details like 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage.

According to reports, the M4 chip will primarily improve the overall performance, but one Mac model will undergo significant alterations. This could be a new Mac mini model, which the analyst claims will be released this year.

Apple is reportedly ending the 8GB RAM model for MacBooks and starting its lineup with a base of 16GB RAM from now on as the new macOS version supports Apple Intelligence features.
