MacBook Pro launch upgrades will include an OLED display, the same thin design chassis and probably powered by the next-gen M processor.

Apple had plans to bring the OLED Mac Pro earlier.
Apple has big plans for the new OLED MacBook Pro upgrade which many assumed would be launching sometime next year but new reports give more bad news for the buyers. The MacBook design overhaul has been expected in the next few years, and we thought the M5 variant coming out in 2025 will be the start of that roadmap.
However, Apple seems to have pushed the entire timeline and delayed the new MacBook Pro launches for another few quarters.
New MacBook Pro OLED Launch Delay: Worth Waiting?
The MacBook Pro OLED upgrade launch could now be coming with the M6 silicon from the company. The redesigned Mac could carry a sleek design and some other overhauls that will be overdue by the time 2026 comes around.
The report from Bloomberg has highlighted the changes like thin design, OLED display and the new M6 chip on board but we expect Apple to bring more changes to the new Mac Pro version, especially if it is going to cost more.
If you have been using the recent M-series Macs in the last few years, the upgrade to the 2027 model might be worth investing in but Apple Macs generally go on for many years, especially with the macOS support, so we usually advice to keep them running till they can handle your load and needs.
And if you can’t wait for the OLED models, how about checking out the available options, like the MacBook Air 14-inch version with M4 processor that has recently been listed with special discount offers online.
The special online sale gets you the M4 MacBook Air for a discounted price of Rs 90,900 which is Rs 9,000 less than its original range. You get the base 16GB and 256GB storage model for the price which gets even better if you have select bank cards. The offer comes with an instant discount of Rs 3,000 in addition to the discounted price that gives you a hefty Rs 12,000 price cut on the new MacBook Air variant.
The company usually avoids giving discounts on its latest models but it seems the M5 MacBook launch plans have brought a change of heart. So, if you are in the market for a high-end system and Macs are up your alley, the M4 MacBook Air offer is the one you need to grab with both hands.
