Celebrity MasterChef contestant and Bigg Boss 16 star Archana Gautam recently opened up about her road to glory. The actress spoke about the time when the family was finding it hard to meet ends but they continued to support her dream. While her father strongly opposed her acting ambitions, her mother stood by her.
Archana recalled that her mother went as far as selling her jewellery to help her move to Mumbai. She managed to give Archana Rs 33,000 and sent her off to Mumbai without her father’s knowledge. Archana also shared how she landed a role in the television show Buddha before eventually making it to Bigg Boss, which became a turning point in her career.
Although Archana has already been a fan favourite on Celebrity MasterChef for her witty and lively personality, this revelation deeply moved her supporters. Social media was flooded with messages praising her mother’s support and sacrifices. Many fans expressed admiration for the resilience Archana and her mother displayed in the face of adversity.
Earlier this month, during an episode of Celebrity MasterChef, Archana became emotional while discussing her recent breakup. Struggling to hold back tears, she spoke about the growing distance between her and her boyfriend. She said, “Wo distance bahut aa gaya hai. Baat nahi kar paati hu, raat ko so jaati hu main” (There’s a lot of distance now. I can’t talk to him, I just fall asleep at night).
Judge Farah Khan, attempting to console her, reassured Archana that her boyfriend didn’t deserve her if he couldn’t understand her demanding schedule and hard work. “Archana, agar aapka boyfriend ye nahi samajh raha hai ki aap kaam kar rahi ho din raat, aur aap thak gayi ho, toh he should go to hell (Archana, if your boyfriend doesn’t understand that you’re working day and night and you’re exhausted, then he should go to hell)”, Farah said.
Archana also expressed her desire for a long-lasting relationship, similar to that of her fellow Celebrity MasterChef contestants Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra. The couple has been together for more than four years now.
