Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted in New York City dressed as Santa Claus while filming his new movie The Man With the Bag.

The sighting comes as the Terminator star’s Brentwood, California mansion continues to be under threat from the Pacific Palisades fire.

Arnold, 77, sported a white beard for his role as Jolly Old St. Nick and wore a red coat with toggle closures.

The coat had a hood and the Jingle All the Way actor also donned a red, white and black scarf and a beanie with a pom pom on the top of it.

in one photo the former Mr. Universe threw his arms out as he stood in front of 30 Rock.

He also struck the same pose on the ice rink at Rockefeller Center.

Arnold is filming his first festive film in nearly three decades.

He previously appeared in the 1996 Christmas family comedy Jingle All The Way as a workaholic father on a mission to get his son a sold-out action figure, which results in him learning the real meaning of Christmas.

The former governor of California joins a long list of actors that have played St. Nicholas, including Ben Affleck, Tim Allen, Billy Bob Thornton and Kurt Russell.

News first broke that the Hollywood legend would be starring in another Christmas comedy back in March.

Adam Shankman is directing the Amazon MGM Studios film from a script by Allan Rice. Reacher star Alan Ritchson also stars.

The synopsis reads: ‘When Santa’s magic bag is stolen, he turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back.

‘Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfit elves, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas.’

This is Arnold’s first movie since Terminator: Dark Fate in 2019. He did shoot Kung Fury 2 that year but it has not been released due to legal issues.

The Palisades fire started on Tuesday morning and the Eaton fire in Pasadena began not long after.

More than 180,000 people in Los Angeles have been evacuated, a modest estimate of 9,000 structures have been damaged or destroyed and at least 10 people have lost their lives.

There are four additional fires burning in Topanga/Calabasas, Acton, Simi Valley and the Hollywood Hills.

The fires were sparked by the Santa Ana winds, which saw gusts of up to 80 to 100mph on Tuesday and Wednesday as fire fighters tried to get a handle on the blazes.

Entire neighborhoods in Pacific Palisades and Altadena have been wiped off the map due to the blazes.

The Calabasas blaze, named the Kenneth Fire, was allegedly caused by an arsonist, who has been apprehended by police.

A  total of 29,053 acres of land has been scorched as of Friday morning in Los Angeles’ worst fire to date.

Many celebrities have seen their multi-million dollar mansions razed to the ground as the fire spread to Hollywood Hills and Calabasas.
