Ashley Tisdale gives birth to her second child! High School Musical star, 39, shares first look at newborn and reveals unique baby name

Ashley Tisdale welcomed her second child with her husband, Christopher French, on Friday.

On Saturday, the High School Musical alum, 39, and her husband announced that she gave birth and shared a first look of her newborn baby in a joint social media post.

The actress took to Instagram to share a photo of her, her husband and their first child — their three-year-old daughter Jupiter — holding their newest family member’s small and precious hand.

In her caption, Tisdale — whose former costar recently welcomed her baby too — revealed their baby girl’s name is ‘Emerson Clover French.’

‘All three of us are obsessed with you 9.6.24,’ she penned alongside a four-leaf clover emoji in her short but sweet note.

The arrival of the happy couple’s newest family member comes after Tisdale made her pregnancy announcement back in March.

At the time, she shared on social media and revealed that she and French were expecting their second child together.

She shared the joyful news with snaps of herself showing off her baby bump while posing by a lemon tree at their Los Angeles home.

‘We can’t wait to meet you,’ the star wrote in her caption.

In her snap series, she was also seen holding her bump as she and French looked adoringly into each other’s eyes.

She also included an adorable snapshot of her firstborn daughter Jupiter, who was wearing a matching look, holding her hand and looking up sweetly at her pregnant mom.

The couple — who tied the knot in September 2014 — welcomed Jupiter in March 2021.

Just a couple weeks earlier, she shared that she ‘can’t wait to get that baby out’ during her third trimester as she had been experiencing pregnancy sickness for a while as her due date approached.

The former Disney Channel star vented about her ‘exhaustion’ as she explained her adenovirus infection had turned into a sinus infection and she had been sick for three weeks already.

Adenovirus infections — which can range from mild to severe — most commonly affect one’s respiratory system, and symptoms can resemble those of the common cold or flu, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

‘I’m exhausted. I’m ready to have this baby but not ready,’ she wrote over a photo of herself lying in bed.

‘I still need to wallpaper the room, get everything organized, so don’t come yet! BUT I’ve been sick for three weeks with adenovirus that turned into a sinus infection.’

She continued: ‘My whole body hurts and I literally can’t wait to get that baby out. I think they make the last month this hard so you’re welling to throw yourself into something that would normally be so scary but you do it anyway.’

Fortunately, mom and baby both seem to be doing well as the family welcome their newest addition and celebrate her safe delivery.
