Popular television actress Chahatt Khanna recently gave her fans a glimpse of her home temple. She spoke how every religious item in the temple holds significance for her.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actress Chahatt Khanna recently gave fans a glimpse of her home in an episode of Mashable Gate Crashes. During the tour, she offered a peek into her serene house temple, but what caught everyone’s attention was the presence of three Shivlingas.
According to tradition, only one Shivlinga should be kept at home, as it symbolises Lord Shiva, and it is believed that his divine energy resides in a single representation. Acknowledging this belief, Chahatt explained, “Ghar mein ek hi Shivlinga hona chahiye, lekin ek-ek kar ke aate gaye mere ghar mein, isliye ab mere pas teen Shivlinga hain.” (There should ideally be only one Shivlinga at home, but they kept arriving one by one, so now I have three.)
She also showcased a beautiful brass idol of Goddess Kali in her temple. Chahatt further shared an interesting detail about the lighting in her sacred space, saying, “Mere dad chahte the ki main mandir ke andar bulb lagau, par maine upar lagaya, isliye mandir thoda dark dikh raha hai (My father wanted me to place a bulb inside the temple, but I installed it above, which makes the inside look a bit dark).”

This house tour video clip of Chahatt Khanna has been flooded with comments of fans’ suggestions and praise. “In-home we don’t keep Shivlinga as the power and radiation cannot be handled there so always kept in temple @chahattkhanna Om namah shivay,” a comment read. “All this glow of yours is a reflection of your positive vibes from your house” another fan added.
Additionally, the actress talked about having a restored Ramayana of her mother and a Geeta at her temple. “This is my Geeta or ye meri mummy ki Ramayana hain, jise maine restore kar ke rakha hai” (This is my Geeta and there is my mother’s Ramayana, which I have restored)
For the unversed, Chahatt Khanna last appeared on television in an episode of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai in 2015. After almost 10 years the actress is gearing up for a TV comeback, allegedly with a supernatural drama. However, no official confirmation has been made by the actress.
