Muhammad Yunus announced on Monday that the general elections in Bangladesh will be held late next year or early in 2026.

Bangladesh’s interim leader Muhammad Yunus on Monday said that the general elections in the country will be held in late 2025 or early 2026, Arab News reported.
Yunus heads, the chief adviser to the caretaker government that was put in place after former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was ousted from power by a violent students’ protest in August this year.
