The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 16, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, had a Bhuvan Bam connection. The content creator and actor shot to fame with his comical skits that he posted on his YouTube channel BB Ki Vines. Recently, Bhuvan Bam found himself as the subject of a question in KBC, posed by none other than quiz master Amitabh Bachchan. Elated by the event, the YouTuber shared a snippet from the episode on Instagram, admitting that he was left “speechless”.
The clip showcased contestant Nazam Nizarali Trikamani on the hot seat. The Rs 10,000 question he was asked by Amitabh Bachchan was, “What is the name of the person who runs the YouTube channel BB Ki Vines?” In the quintessential game format, four options were presented before the participant. They were. “A. Bhuvan Bam, B. Bob Biswas, C. Brajendu Bhaskar, D. Biren Bose.”
Without any hesitation, Nazam Nizarali Trikamani picked option A and won the cash prize. The contestant then went on to speak about Bhuvan Bam’s content, indicating that he was well aware of his feats.
Bhuvan Bam was overwhelmed after watching Amitabh Bachchan take his name on national television. He uploaded the video with a simple yet meaningful caption that read “Speechless” and added a prayer hand emoji. The post has now raked up over 5.1 million views.
Bhuvan Bam is credited with playing different characters in his YouTube videos. He is also adept at singing. Some of his notable music videos include Teri Meri Kahani, Sang Hoon Tere, Safar, Rahguzaar and Ajnabee. In 2018, Bhuvan Bam appeared in a short film Plus Minus where he starred alongside Divya Dutt. The movie received a Filmfare award.
Bhuvan Bam was last seen in Taaza Khabar 2. The Disney+Hotstar series premiered last year on September 27. Directed by Himank Gaur, the action comedy is produced by BB Ki Vines Production. Mahesh Manjrekar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shilpa Shukla, Nitya Mathur, Prathamesh Parab and Deven Bhojani are a part of the show as well.
Meanwhile, the 16th season of KBC aired on Sony TV on August 12, last year.
