Digvijay Singh Rathee, a popular social media influencer, has gained immense support from his fans online ever since he entered the Bigg Boss 18 house. The BB18 contestant, known for his outspoken nature, has also received support from not only his fans but also eminent celebrities in the industry. Earlier, Nikita Ghag and Shilpa Shinde lauded Digvijay for his gameplay. Now, Manu Punjabi has slammed the makers of the show for constantly targeting the MTV Splitsvilla fame.

Ex-Contestant Manu Punjabi discussed the makers’ constant attack on Digvijay Singh Rathee and revealed his disappointment. Although Rathee has established himself as one of the strongest competitors on the show after joining as a wild card, he is facing undue targeting. Punjabi came out in support of Digvijay and exposed how the show has been ruining Rathee’s game compared to others. “They are attacking Digvijay’s fans directly. Bigg Boss then tried to clarify his point of view. I’m sorry, but it is wrong to target somebody like this. Digvijay is tense. He has already done a couple of reality shows and is loved by the audience so much that you are talking about his hashtags.”

In a video shared on Manu’s Instagram, he continued, “Bigg Boss, isn’t this wrong? The makers asked Digvijay if he was facing any pressure or if he was tense. Digvijay said that he was fine. Does he have a choice? Can he say, ‘Bigg Boss, don’t bash me?’ Can he ask Bigg Boss not to bash him? Bigg Boss, you have ruined all his logic, friendships, and relationships,” adding, “Bigg Boss, enough of this. What can he do? You needed a wild card contestant.”

For the unversed, Manu turned out to be the third runner-up of Bigg Boss season 10. He had to leave the show midway after his mother passed away from a cardiac arrest. He again entered season 14 as a challenger but again had to leave due to health issues. Later, the Bachelorette India: Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika fame appeared on Bigg Boss OTT 2.

When earlier, Digvijay faced criticism from the guests entering the house and even from the host, Salman Khan, Bekaaboo 3 actress Nikkita Ghag accused the makers of being biased on an Instagram post. She penned, “I don’t understand why @digvijay_rathee is constantly targeted. Everyone should be treated with the same respect, just like Bigg Boss’ ladlas are. It’s upsetting to see him being unfairly criticised by the guests on the show. He’s a great player with a lot of potential to win, but it feels like he’s being bashed simply because he’s not the channel’s favourite. He truly deserves to be respected for his efforts and the game he’s playing.”

Before this, Shilpa Shinde praised Digvijay and said, “I like him. He’s quite clear about what he wants to do. Despite his young age, he appears mature. Why is he with Karan? He entered the home later and could have joined any of the groups. I truly believe that their friendship is good. Chum and Digvijay appear to be close buddies. Shilpa Shirodkar isn’t his friend,” quoted ETimesTV.
