It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions in Wednesday’s episode of Bigg Boss 18 as the contestants received handwritten letters from their family members. The renowned set designer Omung Kumar entered the house to present the contestants with the letters while also engaging with them to know their views. As Omung entered, he opened up about what goes behind designing the set. Taking a humorous dig, he expressed his disappointment for mishandling the space crafted by the set designer. He also reflected on the housemates carelessly destroying items, subtly calling them out. In a standout moment of the episode, Bigg Boss 18 announced its six finalists of the season.
It all began after Omung Kumar walked inside the house to hand over the letters to contestants at their favourite areas. The letter from their family members and loved ones left everyone teary-eyed as they poured in their emotions, expressing their pride and love for the contestants locked inside the house. Among all, Eisha Singh was the first one to read her mom’s note, followed by Vivian Dsena who also got teary-eyed upon reading out the letter from his children.
Karan Veer Mehra, too, burst into tears after Omung handed him his letter, written by his mother. Next in the queue was Avinash Mishra who was seemingly overjoyed to learn about his parents’ admiration for him. The happiness on Rajat Dalal’s face, as his mother addressed him as ‘gullu’ in the note, said it all. Next, we saw Chum reading out the letter wherein her sister compared her journey inside the house to that of the outside, calling her the ‘little girl who dared to dream’.
At last, Shilpa Shirodkar was given her husband’s note. In a shocking development, she was also handed another letter through which she learnt about her eviction. The actress, before leaving the house, expressed gratitude to Bigg Boss and thanked Karan and Chum for being her constant supporters. Vivian Dsena was also seen crying inconsolably as all of them felt devastated.
After Shilpa’s eviction, the finalists were announced by the Bigg Boss as he said, “Bigg Boss 18 ke finale mein jaane wale sadasya hain Delhi se Karan, Ujjain se Vivian, Bhopal se Eisha, Faridabad se Rajat, Raipur se Avinash, aur Pasighat se Chum (The members going to the finale of Bigg Boss 18 are Karan from Delhi, Vivian from Ujjain, Eisha from Bhopal, Rajat from Faridabad, Avinash from Raipur, and Chum from Pasighat).”
Bigg Boss 18 will soon have its finale on January 19.
