Bigg Boss 18’s Rajat Dalal Faces Backlash For Hitting Yamini Malhotra In Task: ‘Cheap Tactics’

A video of Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal hitting Yamini Malhotra’s chest during a task has gone viral, with viewers criticising his actions as cheap.

Bigg Boss 18 continues to be a hub of high-voltage drama and controversies. Recently, contestant Rajat Dalal found himself under fire for his actions during a task. The incident involved wildcard entrant and television actress Yamini Malhotra, who joined the show alongside Edin Rose and Aditi Mistry. In a recent competition to decide the Time God of the week, Digvijay Singh Rathee and Tajinder Bagga emerged as the final contenders. Rajat’s performance was crucial for Rathee’s win as he needed to outrun other participants. Standing beside Yamini and Kashish Kapoor, Rajat made a shocking move when the buzzer rang. He pushed Yamini by striking her chest and raced ahead to complete the task.

Yamini confronted Rajat for his behaviour, saying, “Rajat, mere ko kis liye maar kar gaye ho. Dono ko maarke gaye ho (“Rajat, why did you hit me? You hit both of us before running off).” Meanwhile, other contestants suggested it was unintentional.

The incident has sparked a wave of criticism online with clips from the task making rounds on social media. Many viewers have slammed Rajat’s actions, calling them cheap and disrespectful.

One user commented, “I won’t validate Alice’s statement because she had an agenda. But yes this video shows a deliberate push to go ahead.”

Another pointed out, “Rajat here looks like he intentionally pushed back Kashish Yamini to stop them. He didn’t mean to hit Yamini in the chest area but he should’ve known he was racing with girls and be careful about where his hands might touch them. Completely wrong for him to do this.”

Someone else called Rajat’s act as “Cheap tactics,” while another added, “I hope this is talked about by Salman Khan, It’s ridiculous!”

A viewer remarked, “One must know how to behave with women around, else not come to a place where you’re surrounded by women.”

Amid the backlash, a section of users defended Rajat. Someone noted, “Not at all! Although I am not a big fan of Rajat, this was an involuntary action of the hands while taking a leap for a run! I don’t think this was intentional.”

Another added, “I think that was not intentional, while taking a run up, the hand goes behind, it was just a little forcefully to stop both of them.”
