Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that BJP tried to bribe 16 candidates of his party and offered Rs 15 crore to each of them
BJP is set to file a complaint against AAP to ACB over the horse-trading allegations levied on them by the latter.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to submit a complaint to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) regarding the horse-trading allegations levied by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against them.
The decision was taken by the BJP after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday accused the party of bribing their party members and appealing to them to switch parties ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results.
Delhi’s former chief minister said that 16 of its candidates received calls from BJP and each was offered Rs 15 crore.
Taking to X, Kejriwal said, “Some agencies are showing that the abusive party is getting more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls that if they leave AAP and join their party, they will make them ministers and will give Rs. 15 crores to each of them.”

“If his party is getting more than 55 seats then what is the need for him to call our candidates? Obviously these fake surveys have been conducted with the sole purpose of creating this atmosphere to break down some candidates. But not even one of our men will break down,” he further said.
AAP Leader Claims Receiving Call From BJP
AAP leader Mukesh Ahlawat also supported the allegations of Kejriwal and said that he would rather “die” than leave AAP.
“I received a call from this number. He said that their government is being formed, they will make me a minister and also give 15 crores. “Leave AAP and come with us”,” said Ahlawat on X and also shared a screenshot of the number which he alleged belonged to a BJP member.
“I want to tell them that the respect that Kejriwal ji and the “AAP” party have given me, I will not leave my party until my last breath,” said Ahlawat.
BJP Leader Vishnu Mittal Demands Investigation Into Allegations
Meanwhile, BJP Delhi General Secretary Vishnu Mittal has demanded an immediate investigation into the serious allegations made by Kejriwal and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in a letter to LG.

In a formal complaint, Mittal has called for an FIR to be registered and requested the Anti-corruption Bureau to probe the matter, noting that Kejriwal and Singh have not provided any evidence to support their claims about the alleged poaching attempt.
On February 5, voters cast their votes across 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi and the results will be announced on February 8 (Saturday).
