Operations at the Pixar Pals Parking Structure were temporarily paused on Friday but have been reopening in phases, Disneyland Resort spokesperson Jessica Jakary was quoted as saying by USA TODAY.
Multiple videos shared on social media captured the blaze spreading to nearby vehicles, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
Officials said that the inferno spread to the nearby vehicles but was extinguished quickly.
The fire caused significant disruption at the resort, with much of the surrounding area cordoned off and families left waiting for hours to retrieve their vehicles as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.
The incident came just weeks after a massive fire erupted at Disney World’s Epcot theme park in Florida. The fire was quickly contained and no injuries were reported.
