Released back in 2003, the catchy pop tune – which sees the singer candidly describe her lover as dangerously addictive – quickly soared up the charts.

It turns out the song was inspired by British TV star, Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick – who is also known as The Supervet.
While it’s not clear if Britney has knows about the existence of the popular TV vet, he did have a relationship with prolific songwriter Cathy Dennis – the woman who wrote the hit song.
The 56-year-old dated the veterinarian in the early 2000s, after they reportedly met when Cathy brought her beloved Labrador Charlie to his veterinary surgery.
Noel called time on the romance in 2003. That same year, Cathy wrote the popular song.
It was first offered to Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue, before it was eventually presented to Britney.
