Britney Spears has no plans to return to Las Vegas for another residency despite speculation of a Sin City comeback.
The rumor mill went into overdrive on Friday after famed Las Vegas insider and blogger Scott Roeben from Vital Vegas teased the pop star’s long-awaited return.
Posting a promotional photo from Britney’s blockbuster Piece of Me residency to X, Roeben wrote, ‘You wouldn’t believe it if we told you, so just leaving this here.’
The Mirror then reported that Spears was eyeing Caesars Palace for her next residency.
However, a source close to the Toxic hitmaker told DailyMail.com that any reports of a Vegas comeback from Spears are completely untrue.
Spears’ original Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me, ran from 2013 to 2017.
Grossing $137 million off of 248 shows, it became one of the most successful musical residencies of all time on the strip.
She was due to start a second residency called Britney: Dominion in 2019, but the hitmaker pulled the plug on it after tiring of performing.

It comes after sources told DailyMail.com that Spears was deliberately trying to raise eyebrows when she claimed she had just turned ‘five years old,’ and that the ‘incredibly savvy’ singer is playing with the public in order to ‘keep everyone talking’ about her.
The pop superstar, 43, has prompted questions about her wellbeing in recent years with her quirky dance videos and bizarre online antics.
This week she told fans in an Instagram video: ‘It’s my birthday. I’m not turning 42 this year, I’m turning five years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow.’
The next day, she announced plans to leave Los Angeles for a permanent move to Mexico, where she celebrated her birthday, in yet another scantily-clad dance video.
Despite the concern from fans, sources are claiming her outlandish comments and actions are a calculated move as she is ‘addicted to fame.’
‘Britney knows what she is doing,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘She’s keeping the world talking about her. She’s addicted to fame.
‘She knows what happens when she talks in a different voice, when she says off the wall things and when she dances around in her underwear. People keep talking about her.’
They continued: ‘These trips she has been taking are not something new. She is with her brother Brian enjoying her money. She was bouncing all over Europe and now Mexico.’

Having recently made millions from her best-selling memoir, The Woman In Me, the singer has signed off on a big budget Hollywood movie to be made about her life story.
The Crossroads star is set to launch a new jewelry line, B Tiny, and still sells merchandise to fans on her official store.
The source added: ‘With her new jewelry line coming out, the biopic in the works and the recently launched Britney Spears Merch site, she is keeping herself trending and this will be money in her pocket.’
Further insisting that the star is fully in control of the online narrative around her behavior, the insider dished: ‘She is sane, incredibly savvy and has so much free time on her hands.
‘Britney reads these headlines, and reacts to them in the most bizarre way possible to keep everyone talking.’
