BTS’ Jungkook may be serving his mandatory military duty in South Korea along with his fellow members RM, Jimin, Suga and V, but he’s still making headlines. Known for his unique fashion, smooth vocals and impressive dance moves, Jungkook is now turning heads for something unexpected. In the video circulating online, Jungkook reached for something in his wallet, but fans quickly noticed that the wallet was far from ordinary. The black wallet was twice the size of a typical wallet and longer than his hand. It was so big that he had to carefully squeeze it into his backpack alongside his other items. The unusual size left fans surprised by his choice.
In a video shared by a fan, Jungkook can be seen searching through his wallet, but instead of focusing on what he took out, fans couldn’t help but notice the size. While most men prefer compact wallets for convenience, Jungkook opted for one that offers plenty of space. The large wallet helps Jungkook keep everything he needs in one place. Instead of digging through his bag’s small pockets for cards, cash or other things, he can easily find everything in his big wallet.
The video shared on X came with the caption that read, “Jungkook was looking through something. I looked closely and it was a notebook or a diary, but it was a wallet. He carries around a wallet with a lot of storage space.”

Currently, only J Hope and Jin have completed their military service, while RM, Jimin, Suga and V are set to be discharged in June 2025. However, fans might feel disappointed to learn that BTS won’t reunite on stage until 2026.
Recently, J Hope appeared in an interview with Weverse Magazine, where he dropped some hints about their reunion. The singer said, “After pursuing our own little ventures, we are now coming back together, and I love that for us. At this point, I think we’re together because we genuinely enjoy each other’s company and get along. That’s what makes our work as a team so natural and effortless. And if you enjoy and appreciate each other’s company, it doesn’t matter if the clothes are a little tight at times because your hearts would still be in the right place. With that in mind, I believe the next step for BTS is to think about how we can balance our individual colours with the team without diminishing our individual colours and identities.”
Even while serving in the military, Jungkook managed to release his new song, Never Let Go, in June.
